Choose your Course
We have a number of kitesurfing courses to suit your budget and ability, typically a zero to hero course consists of 4 x 3hr lesson done over 4-6 days depending on wind, or students schedule. The first 3hrs (discovery lesson) can be 2-4 students with 1 instructor with an Assistant Instructor, after that it is generally 1:1 or2:1
You want to master the elements and discover the amazing sport of kiteboarding? Your IKO Instructor will help introduce you to the sport and teach you various safety rules and skills on land before going into the water; The safety training will teach and show you how to assess the wind and physical location, as well as show you how to properly manage the equipment; set-up; and control the trainer kite.
Minimum level: SWIM
The Discovery Kitesurfer Program IKO Level 1
The best way to discover Kiteboarding! ( 03 Hours )
Intermediate Kitesurfer Program IKO Level 2
Once you complete this program, you will start riding on
the board. You will be ready to continue to the next level
of riding and become an independant kiteboarder! ( 06 Hours )
It is time to get in the water and attempt your first water start with your IKO Instructor. You will now put your skills to the test and experience the full potential of the wind. You will learn to use the kite power to body drag in all possible directions, water relaunch your kite, self rescue, recover your board; and become proficient enough to begin riding on your own!
Minimum level: Discovery
Timing will depend on student's knowledge, weather conditions during the course, spot configuration ( flat? shallow? waves? ...)
Independent Kitesurfer program IKO Level 3
( 12 Hours )
In this third module, you will learn Advanced bodydrag skills & you will perform your first boardstarts)
This is a continuation of session 2, you will practise downwind body drag, water re-launch etc. and learn new skills like walking upwind with kite controlling the kite with one hand., upwind body drag with LEI kite to recover board ad the rest of the lesson youwill be practicing your board starts.
Minimum level: Intermediate
Independent Kitesurfer program IKO Level 3 Plus
Once you have completed this program, you will be able to start jumping
and you will be a truly independent rider! (15Hrs)
It's time to become an independent rider and the more you learn, the more passionate you will become about kiteboarding! On this course, your IKO Instructor will show you how to ride upwind, toe-side,, and help you focus on higher skills like controlling your speed by edging, changing direction without stopping, self-launching and self-landing safely. As an independent rider, you’ll be able to ride on your own and rent equipment wherever you go.
Minimum level: Independent level 3.

ADVANCED
You are ready to become more advanced and ready to learn more about the art of kiteboarding! Learn to master riding in all directions as well as basic jumping techniques! Learn how to help your friends with board recovery! Your IKO instructor will show various techniques like how to jump with grab, jibe and how to rescue another rider and his board. Theoretical topics will include how to better assess your riding location, kiteboarding safety and more about how to tune your kite.
Minimum level: Independent.
